Our Amber is malty, medium bodied, and balanced out with hints of chocolate and caramel from the crystal malt, Munich malt, and roast barley. Cascade hops complement the malt sweetness perfectly.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a dark ruddy amber to brown color with a nice finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at an even pace. Moderate glossy lacing. The aroma had some sweet and toasty bready to caramel malts. Mild toffee/butterscotch and then some grassy hops. The flavor keeps the malts to play with a nice sweet to toasty taste. Some nuts. Nuts, toast and caramel combine in the aftertaste and cleanly moves into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt fine. Overall, good amber ale that I could come back to if I could have again.

2 hour old growler into a snifter
L: Crystal clear amber colored with a robust off white head with substantial lacing - very enticing
S: bready malt - not much else going on
T: Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness, no hops,
F: To style, plenty of carb
O: A forgettable offering for GCB, nothing wrong with it, but there are much better choices at the Brewhouse

Poured into a pint glass. Nice, persistent head. Delicious. The finish has a distinct flavor of its own.
