Had on-tap at the brewhouse in Anchorage
L: Pours a clear medium golden color, with thick creamy white head.
S: Spice... cloves and ginger. Bananas and yeast esters.
T/F: Bready and yeasty with banana and lemon zest. There is a sharp spiciness that is a bit over the top, dominates the brew, and kills the balance. Well carbonated and effervescent mouthfeel.
O: Not a terrible tripel but not one I'd go back to. It tasted overly spicy and there are much better representations of the style.
