Aged 6 months in used Cabernet barrels from Honig Winery. Look for sweet, nutty, malty, vanilla, & chocolate flavors.

Their nut-brown aged in cabernet sauvignon oak barrels. On-tap at the brewpub, the Oaked Nut Brown is a dark mahogany with a wispy white head that leaves very light, scattered lace.
Smell is vanilla and chocolate, very rich and appetizing.
Taste is nutty, vanilla, on the sweet side, some light phenols, a bit vinous, and absolutely fantastic. These guys are the oak barrel masters. Drinks much richer then the low (for a barrel aged beer) ABV.
Mouthfeel is thicker but smooth, tannic.
Drinkability is excellent. What a beer, masterful really.
