Pours a gorgeus rich copper with fine, soft head that leaves loads of lacing the glass.
Smell is malty with floral and earthy hints and notes of caramel, citrus and peppery rye.
Taste is malty and floral. Notes of citrus, caramel and some earthiness. Soft, spicy bitterness and hints of pine and spruce. Very balanced and would probably pair very well with Christmas food.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific amber ale, easy to drink but still not bland.
