Pours a clear dark amber with thick tan head.
Smell is bready and a bit sweet and roasted. Notes of pumpernickel, toast, rye, knäckebröd and some citrusy hints.
Taste is bready, roasted and a bit sweet. Notes of brown bread, toast, dark syrup, rye and knäcke bröd. Moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice dark lager, pairs well with the fatty foods of easter.
