Ooh. This is a really bad IPA. It doesn't look bad but the nose is not really hoppy IPA. It comes off as too sweet and cloying in the nose. As for the rest of it, this is a totally imbalanced beer for 6.5ABV in that it's watery, thin bodied, with ugly bittering on the back end. I couldn't finish this one. There are some amber malts that come through once this settles but I just can't get past the finish on this one. Not good. Will try their other offerings if I can find them.

Bought and consumed in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. This was a pretty good IPA with a classic look and hoppy smell. The taste was a bit more subdued than I wanted, having a bit of a watery finish, but it has an OK hop profile of citrus peel and some pine. This is alright if it's on the menu but not worth going out of your way for.

This is an odd IPA, but hey it's a first? from Costa Rica. Jolly Ranger orange tart flavour. It grew on me in the sample. Thanks for sharing from your trip, Alex B2.

Bottle in Tamarindo CR. No idea what it looks like, since it was dark and a glass wasn't offered. Initial impression is citrus and a bit of pine bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. Finish is surprisingly dry and somewhat bitter. A pleasant surprise.
