This is the Polish equivalent of Budweiser in America. A lot of the locals in Warsaw were pushing this on me, and it's not bad, but just not great either. It pours a golden straw yellow with a fizzy white head. Nose is of light malt and some corn husk. Taste is clean and crisp but has that sharp bite common to Euro-Lagers. Overall this is an easy drinking no-frills brew, but not something I would really seek out again.

Krolewskie (p. crew-leef-ski ) means "Kings Beer", and it is most popular beer in Warsaw becouse of sponsoring our best soccer team Legia Warsaw. It is Bud like beer, but despite the fact that i'am Legia Warsaw fan i must say that Zywiec is the best polish light beer. But there are better beers from our country : Zywiec Porter and Okocim Porter. Greetings from Warsaw.

I wasn't expecting too much out of Królewskie, and it turned out that there wasn't anything real enticing here to begin with. This is a standard Euro-Lager that is drinkable but easily forgetable.
Królewskie pours a yellow color with some gold hints to it. A finger of foam forms and dissipates into soapy bubbles in under 20 seconds. For the most part the smell is clean and neutral. Some light, slightly sweet malts are detectable, as is some corn smell. The mouthfeel is thin and fizzy. The flavor has that light, crisp maltiness to it but a dry, straw-like flavor shares dominance with the malt flavor in the brew. There is some cardboard flavor present as well, and the finish contains a low amount of bitterness. The aftertaste was mostly clean with some lingering "paper" taste, and the brew concluded with no alcoholic warmth.
One of my friends from Warsaw says that this is one of his favorite beers. It may be a thing of city pride in Poland, but more reasonably this beer this probably better over there. This is a reasonable lager, but its main purpose is as a thirst quencher and nothing more.

Pours a clear yellow with a tall prominent attractive head that dissipates and leaves nice lacing. Basically the head looks good and the actual beer looks kinda bad.
The smell is faint grains with some sweetness, but not really too much there.
Tastes like a very average lager. Grainy sweetness, a slight bite with some sourness on the finish. Quite thin (on flavor that is) and boring.
The mouthfeel is actually not as watery as I expected, it wasn't huge but per style it was appropriate.
The drinkability is hurt by its lack of action. There isn't much too this and its boring. Hence I don't buy more, but it was fairly inexpensive $.79/bottle, and at that price, I'll try something once!

The pour a translucent golden yellow color, the head impressive, the color a bright white, creamy in texture and the lace a nice covering sheet. Nose as expected all malt, crisp and fresh, lightly sweet as is the start with a skimpy top, finish adequately hopped, moderately acidic, dry aftertaste, not impressed by any means. I really have a terrible time getting excited about a lager/pils, but if nothing else Im persistent, I will find one I like eventually.
