L - pours a hazy orange. Can't remember how many times I've written that at this point. Gotta take a break from NEIPAs at some point.

S - initial blast of orange and mango. Quickly turns minty and pine sappy. Peppermint. Wintry.

T - sweet lime candy. Cooling menthol as the spruce tips make their presence known. Spearmint and evergreen candy with a touch of bubblegum. Satsuma and peach rings. Finishes with the wheat to remind need that I'm not drinking low ABV gin. Minimal bitterness with maybe a slight citric twang when all is said and done.

F - starts light and airy, then slowly melts into a velvety smooth felt pool table. These guys do mouthfeel right.

O - I'm a real sucker for spruce beers and this is one of the best I've had. Sweet, but in the way cough drops are sweet. Minty fresh and vivid with energy.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a glossy to ruddy pale yellow almost orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sly lace, ends up sliding right on into the beer. The aroma had a nice fresh spruce/sweet pine to sweet wheat encompassing a nice flow from the wheat to some extra citrusy pulpiness. The flavor pretty much copies the aroma spot on. Subtle sweet gliding sprucy/needle-like to citrusy pulpy aftertaste flowing right on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation with a fresh appropriate ABV seemingly hitting the spot. Overall, worthy of having again and many more pours.
