American Stout brewed with pumpkins grown right on the farm. Roasty profile with subtle hints of pumpkin and cinnamon on the finish.

A stern pour from a 16-oz. can was needed to reach a finger of mocha creamy foam with large bubbles that makes it rocky, average retention with broken rings of lace. Opaque dark chestnut brown color, almost black.
Coffee beans and chocolate greet the nose with bakery fresh bread and a vegetable funk (the pumpkin), there is a light astringency from roasted malt. There is a pine smell that may not be from hops, could be the roasted malt.
Bitter coffee and roasted mixed nuts speak 1st during the taste, baked apple makes an attempt at sweetness. Semi-dry and averagely bitter at 1st, it dry towards the finish as bitterness and a burnt roasted taste with faint soy sauce appears.
Alcohol is noticeable, the aftertaste is long with the bitter coffee lingering. Pumpkin is barely noticeable in the taste.
Medium-light body with below average carbonation, it goes flat half way through. A little chalky and gritty, freshness is this beer’s best attribute.
