They say, “Raul, you must be crazy!” Raul replies, “No, baby. I’m just drinking another Hazy!” And just like that, Raul did it! He did! From that little Rhode Island joint, all the way to da big time here in SoCal, and then down into Raul’s golden gullet! I tells yeah, if this is how they make things in Rhode Island, I wouldn’t mind taking a swim with Mrs. Rhode Island herself! (Except for I’m thinkin’ in the Pacific). Wow! Just juicy in every way, but also delicate like when your grandmama iron your underroos.
Need I say more?
Peace!

Poured into a 13 oz Tired Hands Teku glass canned on 10/29/19. Pours a very hazy dark yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves loads of webs of lace yielding amazing retention. 4.75
Smell is papaya, pineapple, mandarin, maybe a hint of watermelon, and grapefruit rind. 4.5
Taste follows really pungent and slightly dank papaya, pineapple, watermelon, tangerine, and white grapefruit in balanced finish. 4.75
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, not dry but slightly sticky from the crazy amount of hops, easy drinking, but actually probably has more flavor than 8.5%. 4.75
Overall just another amazing DDH NEDIPA coming from this awesome little brewery in our smallest State. I highly recommend and if are like me and don’t dig Watermelon don’t worry very little shows up. 4.5

16oz. can packaged on 04/10/19. Pours a dull, milky orange with a loose, quarter inch, bright white head. Clarity is hazy. Nose expresses notes of juicy citrus and aromas of light tropical fruit. Taste follows nose with a little bit of lactose in the background and a mild, lingering bitterness between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a carbonation shy of lively, a slight creaminess to the texture and a mild acidity. Overall, a sold example of the style.

Pours hazy orange/yellow color with white 2-finger foam head that leaves fair amount of lace on glass as it dissipates.
Smells of tropical fruits with a faint bready/grainy hint. Taste follows with fruits and hops. Very smooth medium bodied and perfect carbonation making this a very easy brew to drink. Really tasty IPA, have not had much from here but would if I could!

Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my snifter. I picked up the can at the brewery a few weeks ago. The beer pours a cloudy orange color with almost no light passing through my glass.
A dense bleached white head of 2 cm foams up and rests on the surface of my glass. This foam fades slowly to a clingy edge layer and one large wispy island.
The aroma is lots of tropical fruit with mango and pineapple notes. ALso a bit of grassy note just a hint of grainy malt, but the hops are the show here.
First sip reveals an average body with a silky smooth texture with very fine and tingly carbonation.
Flavor is juicy fruit notes with orange, mango and again pineapple coming through up front. There is a bit of a grapefruit rind note on the finish and lingers with a bit of bite after each swallow. Also a little grass on the burps. Malt and the booze is way in the backseat of the flavor profile and this beer drinks really easy.
the 8.5% is hidden and Im almost done with my glass. A nice tropical IPA from tilted barn, well worth a visit and a grab if available.
