Fermented #4 is a DIPA with essentially the base of Chosen One and a completely altered fermentation profile and hopping methods. The result is an extremely smooth 8.5% ABV DIPA loaded with tropical fruit and ripe cantaloupe flavors/aromas.

16oz. can served in a tulip. Pours a hazy, burnished orange with a loose, quarter inch, off-white head. Head quickly disperses into a tight band around the edges. Swaths and spots of lacing adorn the glass. Great nose - wafts of melon off the pour. With the bowl under the nose I also get pith and soft notes of sweet citrus. Taste is duller than suggested by the nose - green melon, earthy/herbal notes and a light malt profile; not much citrus. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an even, consistent carbonation and a hint of acidity. Overall, a decent offering with a well-hidden abv; however, the flavor profile is a bit lacking in my opinion.
