look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25
Pours a medium-deep orange color, very cloudy with an off-white 2-finger head. Lacing is fantastic.
Aroma has strong stone fruit notes with some melon in the background adding a touch of sweetness, but not in the citrus range.
The flavor is actually more into the tarter citrus range, so the stone fruit does not come out up front - more of a unripe orange or grapefruit pith. A fairly strong bitterness kicks in mid-taste and wipes out the taste buds from sensing what subtleties may be in the finish, though there is a bit more sweetness there.
This one is very soft and feels like there is some meat behind it, but I think the malt is still not a major player here. Bitterness is moderate to high, unusual for a NEIPA.
This is a great beer well worthy of tasting. Some who have been riding the NEIPA train since before memory serves may not enjoy the higher bitterness. It has plenty to offer otherwise and I still recommend for those.

look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4
Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned really recent. Pours a very attractive yellow orange with a massive 2 finger sticky off white head that leaves a thick collar of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5
Smell is pear, boysenberry, apricot, ripe melon, and some grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows pear, apricot, melon, boysenberry, and some bitter grapefruit in the finish. 4
Mouthfeel is big and sticky, gentle carbonation, not sure of the ABV thinking around 8%, and loaded with flavor but easy sipping. 4.5
Overall this is very nice as always from them, they are very good at brewing this style. 4
