On-tap 12/4/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Exeter, RI, served in a Willi Becher glass.
A: The beer is a hazy dark gold color, with a large foamy white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains juicy citrus and tropical fruits, floral and dank hops and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste likewise starts out with sweet flavors of tropical and citrus flavors that are quickly followed by a strong floral and dank hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style. This is a very good NEIPA to drink for a long time.

Pours a very hazy grapefruit juice color with a sudsy off-white head that provides ample lacing. The nose is a mix of bright citrus (grapefruit, oranges) and exotic tropical fruits (passion fruit, mango). Very nice.
The taste has the aforementioned flavors, but it’s the malted wheat that and Scottish malt that make this beer for me - these provide a depth of flavor and character to this beer not normally found in the “hazies” in my experience.
The mouthfeel is on the softer side, per the style. I’ve only had one other beer from these guys, and enjoyed it as much as I’m loving this. Sign me up for more from Tilted Barn!

Off the chain. These guys have done it again. So much flavor for not being a double. Maybe my favorite brewery of all time.
