Dry hopped with some new age Pacific Northwest hops in Talus & Strata as well as an Australian staple variety, Vic Secret. This hop combination delivers a one of a kind flavor profile of tropical citrus fruit and coconut while still finishing smooth with a soft and pleasant mouthfeel.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Bradfords Liquors in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about eighteen dollars
My tenth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 2/25/25. Good, not great.

From a 16oz can, dated 07/05/23. Raise the Barn. Served in a willi becher pub glass.

Pours a hazy, semi-opaque dull orange with a finger-plus of dense, shaving cream-like foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat, creamy cap and a tattered curtain of sudsy lacing,

Nose is woody, earthy, with a slightly solvent-like edge. Aroma is vaguely fruity but mostly, I guess, I’m smelling coconut.

Taste agrees with the nose so precisely that I could pretty much just repeat myself except that the industrial solvent-like character and the husky, woody coconut taste are much more pronounced and taste way boozier than the stated 6.8% abv.

Feel is drying in the same way that isopropyl alcohol is drying. Medium bodied with fine, prickly carbonation. Boozy warmth in the gullet, again far more than I’d expect at 6.8%.

Overall, I didn’t pour it out but truthfully it was a chore to get through the whole can. Not entirely unlike coconut-flavored rubbing alcohol. The can label says it was hopped with Talus and Vic Secret hops in addition to the Strata but, really, they could have saved themselves the trouble for all I could tell.

Cloudy darker gold color. Modest head but it leaves extensive lacing.

Spicy nose with a touch of mildew, barn smell. Attractive but musty.

The bitterness is strong completely masking the pale malt base. The body is rich, however, with a diminished carbonation. The aftertaste is more earthy, a bit like the smell, than the initial taste.

16oz can dated 3/23/22.

Pours cloudy yellow with a half inch head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Pineapple, peach, and pear in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Unripe peach with lemon-lime and grapefruit on the palate. Finishes dry with plenty of pithy citrus.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high head that quickly settled down, leaving a minuscule collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon, mango and passion fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very juicy and has little to no bitterness. There are some slight hints of pine in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA really packs in lots of aromas and flavors of hops but is easy to drink.

Orange and burnt golden hazy liquid. Chunky white cap, high and holding. Big lace leftovers.

Leafy and grassy hops are upfront in the nose. Earthy pine and husky citrus. Herbal and hearty malted grains blend. Very sweet tropical fruitiness here.

Fresh and bold feel, smooth AF all around. It has the feel of a good NEIPA.

Earthy strong and tangy hops hits first in the taste. Leafy bitterness has a bite, piney and citric acid combo. Dry earthy tones turn into juicy fruity notes rather quick. The house yeast is bold with a tangy kick and the malt really holds it's own with strong pepper and honey sweet notes. All balanced pretty well for the IPA.

This IPA really has a rustic vibe and some seriously sharp, hoppy edges that mellows with juicy fruit, Complex enough to keep you guessing.
