On-tap 1/1/2022 at the brewery’s taproom in Exeter, RI, served in a Willi Becher glass.
A: The beer is a hazy dark orange/gold color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong juicy tropical and citrus fruit, piney and dank hops and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong juicy tropical and citrus fruit sweetness along with some creaminess. Then a strong piney and dank hops bitterness quickly follows. The malt character is light for the style but is complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean for the style.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style. This is a very good NEIPA to drink for a long time.
