On-tap 1/1/2022 at the brewery’s taproom in Exeter, RI, served in a Willi Becher glass.
A: The beer is a very hazy yellow color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong juicy tropical and citrus fruit, grassy and dank hops and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong grassy and dank hops bitterness that is quickly followed by a juicy sweetness from flavors of grapefruit and other citrus & tropical fruits. The malt character is on the light side for the style but is very complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is hoppy and sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style. This is an excellent NEIPA to drink for a long time.
