16 oz can poured into a shaker pint glass at The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar (Newport, RI). Bright, hazy reddish pink, with a pinkish head of frothy foam. Aromas of tart plums, cranberry and lactic acidity. Bright, refreshing flavors with lactic acid leading, with plum and cranberry rounding out sweet sour flavors, slight yeast funk and salinity. Light body and lively carbonation. Quenching, flavorful and tartly fruity, great to wash down some raw clams, fish sandwich and lobster roll.
