Snowdrop is our Winter Wheat IPA and is brewed with significant amounts of malted white wheat. We hopped Snowdrop with Strata, Simcoe, Idaho 7, and Mosaic for a beautifully soft beer with notes of passion fruit, berry, tropical and stone fruits.

Can from Taproot Marketplace in Lancaster, NH, poured into glass at home. Great memories of Tilted Barn. What I would expect from a winter wheat IPA.

Cloudy orange with a finger of yellowed head. Decent retention and lacing.
Orange, cut grass, vanilla and white pepper in the nose. A touch of strawberry banana Starburst and a hint of dank.
Definite wheat in the taste. The fruit from the nose is replaced with lightly burnt toast and a pretty dry finish with some light, acerbic bitterness that hints at pith and char.
Full bodied and creamy with tight carbonation.
Two months old to the day. Smells great, but the taste is unpleasant.

Poured on tap into a shaker pint
Cloudy orange color thin soapy head light lacing
Aroma of wheat and stone fruit, malt
Taste is tropical, passion fruit, peach and papaya. Wheat and malty
Mouthfeel is resinous and dry, fairly thick and easy drinking, dry bitter finish
Overall not to bad, a little more resinous then I like but at a low abv it’s easy drinking.
