Pours a murky orangey brown with a little bit of wispy foam.
Smell is malty and sweet with notes of raw honey, some smokiness and some floral hints.
Taste is sweet and bitter. Quite a bit of esters along with honey. Sweetness becomes a bit cloying and with some warmth a not all together pleasant earthiness comes through.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, this wasn't quite my cup of tea. It was my first braggot, so I don't know if it's to style or not.
