Leggy off white froth over dark rusty amber. 4
Caramel, orange jellies, almond slice, and some fusels. 3.75
Toffee, a speck of chocolate, more orange Fruit Pastilles, a pat of butter, then grass, resin, and tangerine. 3.75
Oily, hot, light+. 3.75
Amarillo, Centennial, Zoso
There’s something sweet and eye watering about the nose that doesn’t sit right - smells dangerous. The flavour works a bit better - some oily, bright Amarillo, but it sits on top of a slick, boozy base that’s got hints of butterscotch. Old school on purpose, yet that’s doesn’t have to mean a slugfest between crystal and alpha acids. Considered what Whiplash gets out of 8%, this is rough stuff for 9. And also reads like it fermented high.
A hot mess. 3.75
