Copenhagen 12/2 2024. 44 glo can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Steel can with black and grey label with a silhouette of a wolf in profile.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with earthy and sourish notes. Dark malts and light roast. Sour milk and a bit of grains. Leather and tobacco.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine, dry Stout.

Lovely hoppy oatie stout. Pours rich black with an off white and frothy head. Full of malty, toasty character, hints of chocolate, refreshment of hops. Really fresh, really tasty.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of bready, slightly roasted malt and floral hops, with hints of chocolate and licorice as well. Taste is a good balance of bready, slightly roasted malt, some chocolate, lighter coffee and just a hint of licorice, as well as some light floral, herbal hops. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some chocolate, coffee and herbal hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A lovely Oatmeal Stout with a rather dry, bitter and slightly roasted character, with a certain pumpernickel presence from the bready, roasted malt, as well as a good balance of malty chocolate and coffee and hoppy floral and herbal accents. Perhaps just a bit on the hoppy side for the style but still very enjoyable overall.

Nice hoppy oatmeal. Quite balanced, the water profile in this beer is impressive and clean.
The hops brings a bit of herbal notes and earthy notes. The malts brings a bit of roastiness
