Copenhagen 5/2 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé. Frb. F. Greenish and blue can with a sneering wolf in profile.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a mild sweet odor of Stone fruit mingling with a tart, sharp citrus fruit. Sweet peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and lemon. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Finish is rather dry.
Fresh and bitter.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.2%. Hazy orange colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of grapefruity and piney hops, hints of malts, dust and orange marmalade in the background. Citric and piney / resinous flavour, good bitterness, some sweetness but not too much, well balanced.

440ml bottle from O'Briens Wine Off-Licence, Athlone:
Pretty hazy golden amber with a 1cm, bubbly head that's white & creamy on the surface but holds well. Fresh stone fruits, pine & citrus notes with faint grapefruit hops but it could've been stronger. Slightly more pronounced tasting, citrus & pine hops kick things off with some bitter grapefruit & orange peel, dry stone fruits & a sharp, slightly tangy feel at the end & moderate carbonation.

look: golden to amber in colour, not particularly hazy, one finger white head which quickly dissipates to a thin layer of bubbles with remain throughout, some lacing.
smell: very sweet smelling, syrupy fruity smells, apricot, citrus fruits, mainly lemon and grapefruit, certainly a lot of bitter hop scents, but somewhat of an unpleasant herbal medicinal aroma also, but only faintly.
taste: that medicinal flavour hits first but quickly goes away, some nice sweet malt flavours which then to a fruity tangy hit of hop bitterness, some lemon, orange, grapefruit, nice bitter finish but leaves a peculiar floral aftertaste.
feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, a tad dry, lots of warming of the back of the throat.
overall: it’s ok, not bad, but not great, not a beer with a lot of character but certainly not unpleasant, reasonably drinkable.

Between an English style IPA and a west coast IPA.
There is a certain bitterness balanced with the malt bill. Mostly on the grapefruit and resinous side
