look: nice two finger bubbly white head with great retention, some lacing, beer is a very hazy orange to brown colour.
smell: very juicy and tropical, lots of citrus fruit, mango, papaya, white grape, nice hop bitterness, some sweet caramel malt flavours, aromatic while not being overwhelming.
taste: quite juicy, lots of fruit flavours, all the aforementioned fruits, orange dominates however, some cherry too, nice malty backbone also, hint of roasty flavours, but mainly a caramel toffee sweetness, the finish is hoppy with a nice hit of bitterness, although all these flavours are not as explosive as you would hope for, but i guess that comes with the beers strength.
feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, a very sessionable beer at 4%, reasonably refreshing too.
overall: an interesting fruity pale ale from wicklow wolf, a session beer with a little bit more character, quite nice.
