look: big bubbly off white head, good retention, lacing, almost black in appearance but against a light appears a dark ruby red of sorts.

smell: it claims to be a “hoppy” dark lager, and this is evident in the smell, although its not particularly aromatic, citrusy, grapefruit, peach, caramel, sweet, mild and pleasant smelling alright.

taste: those citrusy hops come out first,, somewhat bitter, grassy, malty, bread, followed by a somewhat sour and smoky aftertaste, aftertaste isn’t particularly nice but overall it’s not too bad.

feel: very lightly carbonated, sticky, wet, fine.

overall: somewhat of a letdown from a brewer i’m rather keen on, not a bad beer, but not one i would seek out again.
