enjoying this while watching man city smash villa at home, this is a decent oatmeal stout, i’m not that keen on apex, although some of its variants has been nice enough, this is better than its bass beer but maybe not the best of the variants, certainly chocolatey, some vanilla, honeycomb, coffee, molasses, liquorice, on the sweeter side of things for sure, low to medium bitterness, medium bodied, low to medium levels of carbonation, soft and smooth, makes for pleasant drinking.
