Copenhagen 1/4 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Steel can with black label and a brownish wolf in profile.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles thin, frothy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intresse with a sweet, toasted dark odor with a touch of rubber. Mingling with a citric scent. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Humid raincoat. Grapefruit. Pine.
Medium strong carbonation. lightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Looks beautiful but could use a little more intensity.
