Pours slightly hazy, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is biscuit, toasted malt and light heather. Medium light bodied and carbonation, slightly sweet. Wanted more heather. Makes for an average ipa. Pass in the future.

Golden colour, very clear with a good head. This has a pleasant sour flavour with a hint of sweetness which goes to leave quite a sharp very hoppy taste. This is a really enjoyable beer,

Purchased a 500ml bottle. Best before states August 2015. Bottle pours a decent head which dissipated quickly. No major hops smell but spicy toffee and malt. Taste is toffee, bread with slight bitterness and sweet finish. Feel is quite good with oily body and just enough kick. This is a refreshing IPA which at this stage given amount of Irish produced ones probably needs an Irish Pale Ale type as it is somewhat between an English Pale Ale and an Irish Amber/Red Ale. This is a very decent beer and as it is brewed locally and is good value (€3.29 in an off licence) I will certainly purchase again. Would in recommend it? Absolutely

Appearance - Hazy honey amber in appearance with a skinny head left from a finger of foam. The head is murky white plenty of streaming CO2 which is almost lager like in quantity and volume.
Smell - Heather aroma is very apparent and there is decent sweet malt caramel tones in here. Some bakery tones and a faint hop back end like moderate pine.
Taste - A great hop kick completely different from the aroma where the hop was faint and at the back here it is pronounced and up front. The heather adds a floral sweetness and some woody character as well. The balance is an excellent bitter sweet mix the malt is rather mild compared to the aroma and there is a light spice in here too.
MF - Smooth! Neither full nor thin just average. The linger is great and there is a very slight cloying and metallic element.
Overall - A really good beer very nice in bottle and a potential ambassador for the brewery IMO. I will def buy again!
