In addition to the Citra it's brewed with Lemon Drop hops. Lovely clear golden yellow color with plenty of foam in the pint shaker. Light and lively mouthfeel with a lush malty sweetness. Clouds of lemony aromatics that go on and on, with a whiff of cucumber. The flavor is just so citrusy in the nicest way. Plus sugar cookies and a dark, winey hint.
Clean, fruity, aromatic, and just right on bitterness. This is one of my favorite IPAs in a lot of recent tastings. So many recent IPAs are so one-dimensional with orange peel and astringent crud. From the 16 oz can purchased at Healthy Spirits in San Francisco.
