Pours black with a small, intensely creamy tan head. Left nice sheets of lace.
Classic deep aromas of slightly burnt malt, deep roasted coffee, dark chocolate and some red fruits.
Taste mimics the smell pretty well. The chocolate comes through a lot more and there was a hint of molasses in the background. Finishes with a pleasant bitterness. Excellent!
Light to medium bodied with a thin yet creamy, velvety smooth mouthfeel. Minimal carbonation.
Deeply flavored and rich. Great job!
