A really nice rendering of a fairly high gravity Scotch Ale. Not sure of the ABV, but this is not a small beer.
Dark amber and mostly clear in appearance with moderate head and minimal lacing. Malty, sweet, fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, rich malt up front, followed by a bit of fruit, maybe a touch of peat or smoke, and a nice hop bittering for balance. Alcohol bite is there, but not huge. Medium bodied with appropriately moderated carbonation.
