Sestri Levante 20/7 2024. 50 cl can from Gulliver Supermarket, Via Nazionale, Sestri Levante. Green and golden can with a little red Coat of arms with some hop flowers.
Pours clear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and malty odor mingling with a soap scent. Sweet pale malts, cardboard and white bread. Hand soap.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is watery and a bit bitter. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Not exactly refined - but with a light redeeming bitter aftertaste.

Reviewing again as I was drunk the last 2 times. Quite weak for a Polish lager. The fact that it says "Premium" and is named after what you usually crave after drinking 9 of these, is not a great sign.
Aroma is just foam. Head is actually ok, much better than a Zubr or Namylow. Not many bubbles or much effervescence inside the beer.
Taste has some sourness. Very thin watery mouth feel. Mega watery and little to write about in terms of flavour. But at least it isn't too sweet. It doesn't really taste much like beer, neither the malt or hops is prominent. But it's still perfectly drinkable and I will finish it. But the flavour is lighter than an American light beer, it's that light. Seems to be brewed for the export market as it has lots of languages on the can and I can't see any Polish. Perhaps its makers are hoping people will buy it because of the name.
From memory I don't recall any beers with less flavour than this. It kind of reminds me of barley malt extract which is an ingredient in Weetabix. Tastes more like Kwas than beer. In fact, it probably tastes more like water than a proper beer.
Recently I have had worse beers that I poured down the sink. This is better than those. But considering how cheap it tastes, I think it is over-priced. The cheapest Lidl and value supermarket beers are significantly better than this and cheaper. But it's inoffensive at least and contains no dodgy ingredients (at least according to the can). 4% is very low for a Polish beer, usually a standard Polish lager is between 5.5 and 6%. So yes I'm not a fan, and from memory I don't think I have liked anything in the past from this brewer either.

500 ml can, as Donner Premium Lager Beer, from the grocery store in Tofinis Hotel, Ayia Napa, Cyprus. ABV is 4%. Very pale yellow colour, thin white head. Sweetish pilsener aroma, grassy notes. Thin mouthfeel. Dry flavour with very little of everything you expect from a pilsener.

I tried this beer while in Rome. Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste is of grains, hints of the dreaded green apples. Feels medium-light bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.
