Average lager. Pale golden color, thin soapy white head. Aroma of malt and corn, light grassy notes. Taste is malty with minimal hoppy bitterness. Short and empty aftertaste.

It's not particularly obvious from the bottle about where this beer is brewed, but the phone number on their website is Polish, so I assume there ; ) Brewed as a German pilsner it seems. Polish but pretending to be German ; )
Super light aroma, typical pilsner appearance...drinking in a pilsner glass.
Taste is very light, but with a slightly unique hoppiness. Very subtle sweetness and bitterness. It contains hop extract in addition to actual hops. I think it would not be allowed in Germany, due to the German Purity Law ; )
For me it's a little too sweet, and there is not enough hops to balance this sweetness. Yet the beer is so light, it's difficult to even detect the hops. Absolute minimal mouth feel. No major off-flavours, though this is basically a mega budget pilsner, disguised as a premium German pilsner. If you want a real one, try Radeberger ; )

Browar Van Pur S.A. (Brau Union Polska) "Edelmeister"
,33L brown glass bottle coded "E 16-05-2020". Sampled on 20 November 2019.
Notes: Labeled at 4.5% ABV. Clear golden body beneath a standard-sized head of white foam. Average head retention and lacing. Moderate aroma of basic, lightly-sweetish and grainy golden malt with a touch of grassy and herbal hops. The flavor follows but with more of a cereal grain flavor. It's definitely not a "Pilsner" as it's labeled because it lacks that specific character in the grain, and there are no clear noble hops. It's at least balanced by median to moderate amount of bitterness. It's medium-light in body and gently crisp-then-smooth across the tongue. As far as Euro lagers go it's certainly not the worst, but neither does it climb the ladder to get anywhere near the top rung. This is an unoffensive beer that's brewed for the mass market and in that they've done a good job.

Deep blonde color. White foam, quite scarce.
Malty smell, some corn, but not too much, and ahint, perceptible, of hop.
Taste: industrial pils, relatively dry, with again a bit of floral hop.
Still, a cheap lager.

Clear yellow color with decent head, typical for a pale lager. Nothing much going on in the aroma or taste, just a generic, bland lager. Not bad but very boring.

What can I say about this beer?
Appearance is very average for the style - clean and clear pale golden color, with a pure white head which fades fairly quickly. A good deal of carbonation.
Smell is not much to speak of; mild non roasted grains are present up front, and weak hops and present in the distance.
Taste directly reflects the smell. Effervescent grains are the chief flavor, with mild hops detectable on the finish.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this beer. Of course it won't taste very good if you try to drink it warm and after is has expired, but nothing else will either.
The only "problem" with this beer is the extreme averages of the entire experience. If you like Euro Lagers, this beer will not disappoint you - but don't expect to be wowed.
