Pours clear golden beer with bubbly off-white head, retention is moderate to low. Aroma is grainy, not very encouraging.
Taste is malty, somewhat chalky, a bit sweaty and metallic, lack of hops, alcohol is well-hidden. Soft carbonation, neutral palate. Neither annoying nor blissful.

A leftover from Sunday's Eurotrash adventure in support of The CANQuest (TM), which seems to be an unending journey.
From the CAN: "Piwo-BeerPivo-Biere-Birra-Sor"; "Wysmienite Tradycyjne (Excellent Traditional)"; "Oryginalna Polska Receptura (Original Polish Recipe)"; "Piwo Jasne (Light Beer)"; "Mocne (Strong)".
I had a resounding Crack followed by a textbook Glug resulting in two fingers of foamy, tawny head with good retention. Color was a really pretty amber with NE-quality clarity. BUPGOO! Nose smelled of grassy hops and caramel malt, which was an interesting combination. It was sweeter in the mouth than I would have preferred, but it had a pleasant caramel aspect to it all the same. Finish tended more towards caramel-sweet than grassy-hoppy, but I did catch some hops in there. Overall, it was just too sweet for this hophead to really get behind, but it was not unpleasant, either. I would not want more than one or two, but it beat some of Sunday's clinkers, so that may or may not be saying something.

The can man woodychandler comes through again with another canned beer. Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sweet, malts. Taste is alcohol up front, malts, a slight grape like flavor. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

Poured a clear golden liquid with a thin white cap that turned to not much more than a wisp. A vigorous stream of bubbles constantly trying to escape the brew, actually quite nice to watch.
Smell is mostly sweet malt with the occasional note of alcohol, pretty much a malt liquor feel minus the corn.
Taste is fruity, I always take the taste I'm picking up and equate it to Juicy Fruit gum, all I can say is an alcoholic Juicy Fruit with a twang at the finish, well it was promising up to this point but nose dives...
Mouthfeel is light somewhat refreshing, highly carbonated as to be expected from Europe's version of malt liquor
Overall I paid $0.82 for a 16oz can so it has value but unless your looking to get babcia sloshed like the old country stay away, unless you're like me and looking for random cans with little to no English on them.
