Genova 25/7 2024. 50 cl can from iN’s Mercato, Via Vincenzo Fascie, Sestri Levante. Black can with golden letters and some Corn Ears to underlige that this is all about malts. The Number “12” is very much in focus.
Pours clear golden amber with a big fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts mingling with alcohol and sour grains. Caramel, bread and cardboard. Sharp scent of sour grains. Headache inducing, metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong, boozy sweetness followed by a sharp and medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a omnious undertone of alcohol.
Enjoy when ice cold - or not at all. Unpleasant.
