A Christmas gift in 2025, this one was drunk in January 2026.
L: The beer is a bright but hazy, orangey yellow in the glass, with a fluffy, bright-white head and no visible bubbles.
S: The nose is tropical, spicy fruit, with pineapple and guava prominent.
T: The taste is tropical and fruity, just as intimated by the nose, with an added layer of creaminess at the back end. Bitterness is mild, but there's a slight kick on the swallow, making me pause and appreciate the beer before another sip. The finish is dry.
M: The body is soft and pillowy, with medium levels of carbonation that leave a little burn on the swallow but which complements the body and flavour profile well.
O: At 4% ABV, this is a tasty, well-rounded beer. The can claims the beer is smashable, and from the evidence so far, it tells no lie.
Cheers!
