Tmavy/Czech dark lager.
On-draught @ the brewpub in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2016.. 39000 VND per 0.3L pour.
Creamy, chocolatey, moderately heavy on the dark malt sweetness. No overt hop or yeast character. Faint beginnings of a burnt malt character. Balanced but simple and shallow.
Smooth, wet, unrefreshing, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, and approachable.
Overall, it's a decent little Tmavy, but there are better expressions of the style to be had (even right here in Ho Chi Minh). Drinkable, and a nice change from the bright lagers you usually find in Vietnam.
