Refined and regal, Ethereal's stronger golden Belgian-style ale hits the mark with even-keel fruit and spice that play out on a soft honey-like malt pillar.
Bright and golden hues appease the eye while the soft and zesty froth billows from below. Secumbing to its own strength, the froth folds back into the fortified elixir just after delivering a plethora a floral and fauna to the nose. Soft honey sweetness supports the perfumy and grainy bouquet before the fruit and spice steal the show.
With the sweetness receding from biscuit and honey, the fruit flavors of apple, lemon, pear and melon begin to project. Soon after, the spiciness of white pepper, vinous-type spice and clove round out the counterpart to fruit and just before the grassy and spicy hops deliver faint lemongrass as final impressions.
Medium-full on the palate, the beer relaxes in finish to be equally fruity, spicy and malty with its body lightening just enough to usher in a quaint drinkability and simmering warmth.
