Served in a Belgian style pint glass at the brewery - this beer is a very hazy very saturated soft yellow color with a decent white head that laces beautifully after every sip.
Marketed as a Brett fermented pale ale, this beer does not have the typical funky/farmhouse aromas associated with the yeast - first and foremost the hops are in your face; very tropical (mango, guava, pineapple), a slight bit of grass finishes them out. No discernible brett character but it may just be melding with the fruity hops.
Flavor is hoppy! All the notes detected in the nose are there on my tongue - very very bright and tropical. Lurking in the background however, is a subtle note of kitty litter that I associate with some certain hop varieties - it was very minor though and does not detract from the overall flavor much.
The mouthfeel is medium but soft - not as creamy as its visual presentation lead me on to think.
Very tasty beer, drinks more like an IPA than a pale ale (more hops less malt), and quite unique being fermented with brettanomyces (at least for these parts).

This is described as a wild ale but I got mostly fruity hops and a light malt Pale Ale. The hops spring forth melon, lemon, lime and tangerine. The malt is a bit bready but clean. As I got further in a nice yeast character began to stand out.

I was eager to try this while on tap at Hopcat in Lexington, KY. This is a great hazy in color brew with a ton of flavor and a great finish. I was very pleased to enjoy this.

With their "sour" program in full swing, their brett-pale ale celebrates the wild yeast with a firm malty undertow, a hoppy bite and a yeast-lead potpourri of complexity.
After its bready, hazy, light golden pour, the beer builds a creamy soft lather of foam that with a gentle swirl erupts with sharp citrus, earth and pepper. Doughy in its sweet breadiness, the first taste is of dried, leathery orange, lime and lemon. With an earthen perfume of burlap and basement waft above.
Challenged in its scent, the bulk of earth character floats away and the dough sweetness subsides. This leaves the middle palate, clean, fruity and refreshed. Its drying trend highlights the bitter citrus peel and the acidity of lime, lemon and softer melon. A spicy balance of white peppercorn, clove and mint lurk in the recesses and offset the fruit for an even-keel finish.
While its yeasty character keeps the texture moderate, slick and creamy, its the beer's understated acidity and cleverly disguised hop bite that give the beer a light chardonnay and grassy finish and a dry peppery afterglow.

Color is now clearing as is resting in keg, the flavors are quite dry, leaving more of a Belgian pale finish. Very enjoyable.

100% Brett pale ale with American hops. Hard to categorize since the brettanomyces culture is from a lab.
Pours a hazy golden with a head that quickly dissipates into a ring of foam around the edges that stays for the majority of the session.
Soft fruits on the nose. Mango, pineapple, and tangerines with a bit of pale malt sweet breadyness.
Opens on the palate with the same fruityness. A bit of stone fruit as well, with some pepper and spice lingers on your tongue. Bready and a bit of toasty malt comes through on the end.
Light-medium bodied and some what sticky.
A great first brett pale ale from Ethereal that displays great fruity characteristics with some pale malt bready flavors and sweetness as well.
