Check check check! Hits all the high notes for a red ipa plus adds a great west coast bitterliciousness. Yes I made that up for this beer. Decent lacing to boot.

How to properly balance an IPA- this is the dilemma for brewers across America as the taste should obviously lead with hops. But how to properly support those hops is what lead Ethereal brewers to rest with a toasty red ale foundation.
Its rusty-bronze austere shows the darker side of IPA, glowing softly through moderate haze. Its foamy and tarnish head rolls along with a moderately toasted and caramelized scent that's quickly overtaken by grapefruit. Initial taste is malty with dry caramel, bread crust, pecan and light grain starch.
With the balance trending hoppy, the malts never back down. The background of sweetness shows gradual fade while the hops act contradictory, growing slowly more intense. Pink grapefruit and dried orange peel lead the way, but the beer's grassy, leafy and piney attributes ride high while the taste nears finish.
Closing with citrus peel and pith, the medium-bodied beer trends dry both from high hopping and toasted grain attributes. Final impressions of pine and peanut skins give a bitter closing while echoes of malt remain.
