I got tremendous mango flavor from this but not only mango fruit but a citrusy mango hop. Also get oranges and nectarines with a sizable honey and caramel sweet malt backbone. I do get some funky Brett yeast character which makes this Very enjoyable!

Selected from a local homebrew competition which was sponsored by the Ethereal Brewing guys, the collaboration between homebrewer Charlie Reissig yields a boisterous IPA that's backed with mango fruit and the earthen pungency of brettanomyces yeast.

Heavily murky and muddled with burnt orange and sandy browns, the beer's striking haze is topped with a creamy, stark white whipped foam. Musty fruit abound from the glass and grip the senses with soft citrus, grassiness, weathered wood and the strong overtones of fresh mango. Its taste is supple with sweetness as light honey and caramel meld seamlessly with the mango's fructose.

And the India pale character takes hold with the middle palate as the sweetness dries to powdery, woodsy perfection, its caramel and honey fades and the fresh fruit turns dry and dehydrated under the influence of wild yeast earthiness. Bittered with grapefruit and orange peels, fresh grass clippings and soft pine resins.

Though it's a ugly duckling, the medium-light ale trends dry and light with the dry woodsiness of yeast. Its funky-fresh quality is both rustic and vibrant while an aftertaste of musty mango wafts onward.
