Wow, over before it started, its rare when a second beer needs to be ordered because the first one was down the hatch before given thought or consideration. But that's the testiment to the drinkability, palatability and refreshment of Ethereal's Sexy Base Moon.
Sparkling bright straw hues glow in the glass. Its wisping white foam takes on an arid demeanor with large loose bubbling action and mid-statured retention. Citrusy aromas abound, capturing the essence of lemon, lime, white grape, apple and a mild mineral-rich whiff of the sea. Supple sweetness is candy-like with a faint glimpse of grain that starts the session in the best "warheads" way possible.
The beer develops little over the middle palate. Its short sweetness drifts and the sourness continues to take control of the tastebuds. Its citrus flavors carry the light mild mustiness of the cellar while the vinous white wine and dry cider flavors act in supporting roles only. A light saline character links up with the burlap character to sell the sense of earthen brine.
The finish comes quickly as the beer's sharp effervescence bounces off the palate with ease. Bright and tangy throughout, its seltzer-like refreshment leaves the body superiorly light in body and highly quaffable. Its sourness lingers slightly in the citrus and burlap realm.

This is a nice funky, sour and tart beer that has just the right levels of funk, sour and tart. Mostly lemon tones of fruit, lemonade and lemon sour mix. Very easy to drink, it's like lemonade.
