Almond joys got nuts mounds down. The nose of this one is slightly coconut. However the flavor is 100% either Coco Lopez or almond Joy without the nuts. Smooth on flavor. Easy drinking.

Introducing a dark ale to the warmer season, the tropical taste of coconut is the perfect catalyst to justify such dark ale when the temps surpass ninety degrees. Ethereal Brewing is obviously chomping at the bit to get into Fall.
Dark brown and swirling with a gentle coffee-like creme, Boxy Brown teases the nose with suggestions of chocolate, coffee, toast, nuttiness and a richer caramel tone. As the coconut scent is milder, it brings back memories of coconut candies as a child. Sweet on the tongue, a richer caramel, toffee and chocolate taste promises a malty tone early and often.
Much the same occurs on the middle palate as its malt sweetness rewards the sweet tooth with a richer caramelized coffee, roasted pecan and bittersweet chocolate flavor. Toasted coconut edges the beer more into the breakfast blend type of coffee flavor as a broad and woodsy bitterness is mellow and slightly balancing.
Medium bodied, the bolder taste of brown ale suggest a fuller texture but its solid attenuation rates keep the beer pleasantly drinkable in the end. A medium long aftertaste of toasted coconut and caramel macchiato march onward.
