The quintessential American beer, this ale is balanced with malt and a touch of hops. Golden in hue with fruity and citrus notes from Simcoe and Amarillo hops with a ready and crisp finish.

Copper in color with a nice white head. Somewhat easy and color but still see-through not hazy like the fad hazy IPAs. Nose is piney as is the taste with citrus back in.

Bringing bitter back, Ethereal brewers take a break from all the haze and get back to American ale basics. Simcoe and Amarillo hops help to fuel a drier, bitter and more refreshing ale to bring sensibility in beer drinking into vogue.
Pouring hazy and gold, the ale might be mistaken for hazy ale, but its nose of herb supersedes that of fruit for a nose that’s more pine, floral, citrus peel, grasses and hemp. As its low-lying sweetness skirts the tongue, notions of dry cracker, communion wafer and a hint of honey provide any glimpse of malt sweetness.
As the floral aromas turn to hop spice, the overcast of orange peel, grapefruit and under ripened apricot hit the middle palate with a sharper, drier and less juicy flavor. As the malt sweetness quickly dissolves from the tongue, the bold bitterness of white grapefruit, torn spruce needle, damp sod and hemp provide a peppery, piney, resinous and earthy bitterness that chases into a long, bitter and dry aftertaste.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the session shows the more herbal, botanical and earthy side of hops while remaining refreshing, crisp and off-clean.
