Sour, bitter and slightly sweet, this beer gets all the tastebuds involved.
Billed as a hoppy sour ale, Ethereal's Sol Man pours a hazy light gold and with a frothy white crown. As the yin-and-yang of tartness, fruitiness, herbal and grassy hops fill the nose, the taste opens with the lightness of wafer, cereal and honeysuckle. As the creamy sweetness fades away, its the tartness that brings about flavors of lime, lemon, green apple and gooseberry. Under ripened oranges, white grapefruit, hints of passionfruit and hemp stem from hop bitterness before a bitter and sour finish as prescribed.
Medium-light in body, the hop and acidic dryness chases a refreshing and crisp taste with a slightly off-clean character into a medium-long aftertaste.
