In a spicy and south of the boarder twist, Ethereal brewers reach across the the boarder and bring their cinnamon, habanero and cacao to the fabled world of Baba Yaga. Dressed in sweet, savory and spicy flavors, this stout is packed with attitude.
Jet black and floating a thin espresso creme, Mexican Chocolate Baba Yaga swirls about the senses with deep espresso roast, dark chocolate, bourbon, cinnamon and spice in true Mexican hot chocolate fashion. Initial sweetness slathers the tastebuds with molasses, dark chocolate, caramel and toffeevahead of more dark roast coffee, nuttiness and smokey char for more savory effects. Trailing into a spicy blend of cinnamon, bourbon and peppery heat, the late taste is bitter with coffee, woods from the barrel barrel prickling in an elevated habanero, cinnamon and alcohol heat.
Full bodied and challenging because of the elevated spice, this Mexican Baba blend is sure to warm the senses but is quite a challenge for the capsaicin uninitiated.
