L - Head dissipated quickly, should have been the red flag warning.
S - Roasty malt, but a strange burnt acetyl smell to it.
T - Yes, completely off, tasted like a butt plug dipped in old root beer. Really old root beer.
F - Under-carbonated, disgusting cola notes, undrinkable.
O - The worst local beer I've had in 5 years. Incredibly disappointing.

Sampled at the brewery's bar...
The body appears very dark brown, almost black, with a consistent one-finger thick light tan head. The aroma brings out charred grains and faint baker's chocolate notes. The flavor is more of a milk chocolate bent with a well-balanced, smooth bitterness to balance things out. Medium-heavy body; slick and smooth mouthfeel; semi-sweet finish.
This beer is a prime example of a classic milk stout. It exemplifies a fine balance of sweet, chocolaty dark malts with a well-tempered hop bitterness. A very fine, very drinkable dark ale...
