First time trying a beer from this brewery - and I was very pleasantly surprised. Tried it on tap. Thin golden color with no head. Smelled glorious - malt, biscuit, then that faint cream soda smell that really surprised me. Tasted very smooth and not as light as I would have predicted. Great nots of grain, malt, faint hoppy fruit, then that cream soda that reminded me more of some sweeter stouts that I've tried. Smooth aftertaste with very little bitterness, thin mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation throughout. I definitely will be planning to explore more beers from this brewery, as well as try to look for this one in the store.
