Black body with one finger head and a lace ring down glass. Roasted, slight coffee malt aroma with tiny amount of sweetness (chocolate) going on. Smooth, lighter stout but still has a fuller body, the roasted/coffee malt profile is the dominant one but there is a little bit of sticky sweetness (straddles chocolate and toffee for some reason) that adds a balance and makes for an enjoyable beer. Nice to see someone brew a stout that is "sessionable" rather than the usual big ABV crushers one gets.
