Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a snifter, the beer is an opaque, honey-yellow coloring with a filmy, clingy, white head. Nose of tropical fruits, rich and sweet, heavy on pineapple, mango, and grapefruit, on a biscuit backbone. Flavors are juicy and citrus forward, heavy on pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and apricot, with a solid biscuit backbone, and grassy and peppery highlights. Smooth bodied and dry, with a citrus and herbal aftertaste. Smooth, dry finish, with a linger of orange and dry bitterness.

Poured an orange body with two finger head and lace ring around glass. The aroma is like name implies with notes of grapefruit and tangerine aromas coming from hops with touch of sweet malt. Light bodied, has that grapefruit like hop sweetness and other notes of tropical fruits that somewhat balance with sweet malts and hops. The dry, citric parts of the hops come on in the backend and this beer, for all of its sweetness up front, ends up finishing dry and earthy.
