Poured a copper body, slight reddish tints, with two finger white head that left lace ring down glass. Bursts with citric, piney hops and very little caramel malt sweetness (or anything else for that matter). I like this beer but in my opinion they should just call it an IPA instead of APA (pale ale). This beer is real dry and hopped up, hops giving off a bitter citric and earthy grassy dryness and there's little sweetness in background to really balance beer. Finishes dry and crisp and is quite a little hoppy treat.
